west winds on sunday. like phwoarrrr. really rich sound. LOVING IT LOADS (: one of the bestest concert ive ever been to in ages. really enjoyed myself loads. so.. so.. phwoarrr. ok sorry. ive really run out of things to say. haha. but yes im sure everyone would have totally enjoyed the concert too. repertoire was fantastic. the sound was good. we had good seats. haha. yes thats the most important bit.

save for this whole bloody bunch of kids at the back who refused to shut up. dang! behaving like a couple of barbarians for the whole world to see. stared at them a couple of times and of course i managed to say - super rude can?! - just before we left vch :DD if they had been my juniors. i'd probably slap them left right and centre and scream - DONT BRING SHAME TO THE BAND YOU MORONS! - for the whole hall to hear (:

teaching on monday was baddd. *bleats. i was late. sleepy. grouchy. and the kids were super playful. really stretched my nerves. had to work on playing scales soft and controlled and their tonguing. mr tan beng hwee arrived. conductor for vs. gwh sehhh! okayys. he's good. picked up some pointers so i can use it for my other students (: and then i went to buy herbal tea for my dad. walked home. AND WAS LOCKED OUT OF THE HOUSE FOR 3 HOURS.

i finished reading my malay book. i doodled emo funk on the floor. i listened to my mp3. i huddled in a corner and fell asleep and when i stirred this FUCKING BANGLA was staring at me. *string of expletives. so i didnt dare to fall back asleep again. lols. and then ANOTHER BANGLA came by and sprayed the floor with water. lols. he was washing the floor and i had to leave. so i got up gingerly and made my way to the lift landing upstairs. another dude was there. my face was super stoned. hehe. cause i was embarrassed at having been found at such a stupid position and stuffs.

the lift arrived. i walked purposely towards it and.. CRASH! BANG! WOOSH! WEEEEEE! i feel down. wtf lahhhhhhhhh. so malu please! i stepped into the lift and my non-existent friction slippers slipped and i slipped and my arms flailed around and i have a bruise on my arm to prove it. PAINFUL ):

.. and terribly embarrassed.

hahahaha. so i steadied myself. arranged a stoned expression on my face again and turned arnd and looked at the man and held up a hand as if to say - no worries. everything's under control. hahaha. ok wtf. this is one of the most malufying experience of my life. mum came and opened the door and i did housework for the rest of the day :D my house is full of snacks that will drive a shop out of business (: yupps. they're for studying.

today teaching was SO GOOD! :D cheered me up them. haha. they were already waiting for me when i got there. played scales. VERY SOFT AND VERY CONTROLLED! yayyy! i did it (: no actually they did it too :D went through a few parts of the set piece - with all thy might. sounding good. only not coming in together. worked with first to get her solo swelly-ish :D

their choice piece - ascentium - is coming together. need to remind them again and again to get their long notes balanced and to come in nicely and with FEELINGS. yeahh :D

and today.. i am very and super duper proud to say that.. I TAUGHT THEM THE OPEN THROAT TECHNIQUE AND THEY GOT IT! they sound so much better now. their tone is not very closed anymore :D haha. wana know my secret? (: ask me! they really like their new tone and keeps trying and trying and asking - my tone open already? hehe. so cuteee.

i think handling a band all on my own would be a bigger challenge. i can take brass as a section. but adding in a few winds would be a real challenge and i cant wait (: i hope i get that chance soon! a good band is not one that can play loud. but one who can play soft and controlled :D and teaching it is harddddd. hehs.

ok. i think i want to teach music for real already. loyang will be my stepping stone to many new bands in the future (:

came back. bought my bird nest drink with fungus. bought fruits and came home! :D actually i dont knw how to choose oranges and pears. HAHA. ok so hopefully they turn out alright.

good mooooood. lalala. i shall go finish some of my hw and stuffs now.
