denise chong got me hooked to pig's blog. hahaha. to my regularz. you know who he is. LOL. aiya those who know. stop poking fun at me la. LOL.
anyway. back to serious business. read back all his entries. the days leading to our
august performance and
jubilance one. the best days of our lives. he held us in such high esteem. he boasted about US. he cared abt US. most of all he
loved us. read people. i dont have to tell you it all here. read it in solitude. in the comfort of your own home. surrounded by things that made you feel comfy.
have a pack of tissue ready. be prepared to let the tears flow.
what's become of bm band now? how could we ever forget what he ever thought us? yes its true. the commitment. the dedication. the passion he has instilled in us was never lost in each of us. but what abt dignity and sense of shame? where did it go to?
read all the pain he went thru. read his frustrations all over again. read the praises he had for queena. read the frustrations he had of the trumpets. read how he copied and pasted some of our entries the day he walked out on us. read all that. let it bring back the days when we were all truly one big family. when he was the daddy and we were all the little kids.
our daddy was fierce at first. but then. slowly. he warmed up to us. i think one of the reason he doesnt mix well with you guys was because of
me. and for that i apologise. he even blogged abt snakes. the day when he laughed too hard to conduct.
that was the one happy memory when all of us shared the same joy. when azman wasnt the asshole he is now. when yew hao started being outgoing. when queena and me started having decent conversations. when i stopped thinking that the juniors were useless.
remember the time when we did the most perfect perc ensem? there wasnt any
outsiders. just us bm kids. we rawkk people. we still do. and the best concert in the world was the rehearsal on the thursday before the concert - no glitches.
perfecto.
im not saying we can do it all over again. all im saying is -
never forget your roots. true. you and me. we dont agree with the way he teaches other bands now. but the least we can do is support him. nasty as he may be. he was once that great conductor we looked up to.
we can always relive back these memories. they are so precious. i dont wana lose them. do you?
remember how we stood up for him when anonymous started sprouting all over his blog and started suanning him? they called us disgusting. remember how he fought for us? how his own friends turned on him? the disappointment and hurt he felt? we're his
students and yet..
remember the time..? remember when..?
remember?
