i read totto-chan all over again and wth. im reduced almost to tears. such a truly touching book. simplicty in life brings the most joy. i enjoy reading abt totto's adventures. how she always gets into trouble and how she always chooses to look on the positive sides of things. naturally curious and with such a kind heart. bless her little soul.

but all in all. i respect the headmaster of tomoe gakuen - sosaku kobayashi. he is indeed an excellent educator. choosing to ignore negative remarks abt the way he runs his school. doing away with the conventional education system and setting abt on bringing out the best of each child. his patience and his understanding and above all his great love for these children is astounding.

he is providing them with the best childhood one can ever ask for. a childhood so wonderful that they feel reluctant to grow out of it. if i had a chance. id want to be a student of that school too. having hands-on classes. potting plants in the wild. reading in a library while the sweet breeze ruffles my hair. and study and play with my friends in a train carriage (:

and then my sis just had to watch et. wah lao. reduced me to tears again. so the touching la pleaseee ): when et picked at a piece of m and m. i teared. its the simplicity of it all. the simple act of accepting a piece of candy. some more et so cute. cannot make it.

et crazed.

et phone home. and the little thing got so excited when he got a signal. i assume its a he (: and then it was lying face down on the rocks. fighting for his life. AHHHHHHHH. sobs sobs sobs. the kids found him and brought him back but the mum freaked out upon seeing him and grabbed all the children and ran.

and et cried out in anguish. MY HEART WENT OUT TO HIM. curse curse curse the mother. the music ahh i tell you. really played a huge part. anyways. the ending was too touching to be true.

elliot. elliot. et called out elliot's name. much tears from the cast as well as me. i will always be right here. omg! then he took the flowerpot and boarded the spaceship.
