sat in with alumni today. after MUCH MUCH cajoling on azman's part. we set up our own instruments and warmed up and played songs on our own. and then deric came out and asked azman to go in. and azman did. shucks. later deric sent him to ask me and hao in. i was pretty open larr. but hao was not. he's very adamant abt not gg in. first time i really see him stick to his decision. usually he'd make a resolution but wont usually stick to it.

azman cajoled us. saying that we'd never learn our mistakes if we keep playing in small groups. we dont have to look at deric if we dont like him. we can shut our minds and ears if we dont like his teaching. but just go in. try out the piece. cant keep on playing band pieces over and over again. gotta learn to try out different genres with an open mind.

im riah lehh. hello. easily swayed by words as always. so i sat in. hao really just sat behind there and listened to us. wah he really steady siaa. and azman also another one. he actually stood up for yew hao. *applause. hehs.

it was actually nice playing in a band. for the first time i actually sounded loud. covering the second and eupho. bianggs. so loud until deric asked me to soften down. =P. back like the old days. but andy's trombone like very hard to play. NEVER OIL SLIDE! slap him arhh. and the mouthpiece so big. air escaping from the sides of my mouth. LOL.

i thought my tonguing was nice today. my pitching is way off. i cant recognise my notes still. but sight reading better. rhythm still there. volume better. =). den he keep on picking on us today. but like dont dare to scold larr. LOL. not say i very bad also what. just my pitching =(. sad siaa. shucks.

i still dont like the way deric teaches. and i dont think i ever will larr. half of the stuff he teaches are wrong. and he likes the beat to be up and up. a bit disgusting larr. he likes the melody to have a bouncy beat to it. oh please. so nice melody play normally is really nice lorr. but no must bounce bounce bounce. everything also he likes to bounce bounce bounce. shucks.

left arnd 6 plus. faster chiongg to orchard to eatt. damn hungry sia. went lucky plaza. ate 8 dishes btw us. hahaha. azman could have eaten another meal but he too paisei. lol. desert so sucks siaa. watched a bit of miss sg. hahaha oh please. i go in confirm sure perfect 10 lorr. but they wouldnt stop laughing at me. say what my fats all. hahaha. they just jealous =). den keep on making of me.

walked to ps. azman left for home. me and hao walked arnd ps. went to see the grade 1 exam ppr. manageable lorr. walked everywhere. lastly to carrefour. ran for bus. and now im home =).
